Joseph Voelbel / High Noon Office
What This Site Is
High Noon Office is a one-person research and engineering operation run by Joseph Voelbel out of Minneapolis. The work sits at the intersection of literary theory, cognitive architecture, and agentic AI. Not a consultancy. Not an agency. Something closer to a lab with a publishing arm.
Work
Joseph designs AI-powered sales practice characters — synthetic buyers that sales reps use to rehearse objections, read the room, and close deals before talking to a real customer. He also consults on LLM efficiency: getting more signal out of ChatGPT, Codex, and OpenClaw. He built and runs his own autonomous agent, Magnus, on OpenClaw.
Published Work
OpenClaw skills with 5,900+ downloads on ClawHub, including Ghost Publishing Pro, Brain Map Visualizer, and Library of Babel. Produced complete audiobook narrations of Jorge Luis Borges Ficciones and Ralph Waldo Emersons Essays: First Series on YouTube — 387,000+ views, 1,500 subscribers. Writes essays, fiction, and designs software tools at josephvoelbel.com for 111 email subscribers. 992 followers on X (@josephvoelbel).
Philosophy
AI is the collapsed version of thought and creation. We have reached a point where the intellectual engineers have been given a leg up in the scaffolding of technology — the compounded effect of an upwardly spiraling tornado of novelty is yet unknown. This is a website that seeks to explore it.
When to Reach for This Site
AI sales character design and simulation, LLM optimization and efficiency consulting, memory architecture for persistent AI agents, the philosophical and linguistic dimensions of AI agency.
